Girl's Gymnastics

Girl's Gymnastics

Gymnastics is for both the ones who are at the top of the play fort, always on the monkey bars and trying to do the splits at home, as well as the ones who would like to be more active but have not yet got the confidence. Childhood physical conditioning has lifelong impacts on bone density and the ability to feel confident in physical pursuits throughout life. All these things are important when we have our adult head on but ultimately who wouldn't want to jump on a 10m long trampoline, swing on a bar, run along a beam and learn how to cartwheel and handstand? These classes follow the girls gymnastics program but can be gender diverse for Prep aged and above.

Boy's Gymnastics

Boy's Gymnastics

Boys love to move. Gymnastics classes will give them the strength and body control to know where they are in the air and on the ground so they are more coordinated, stronger and better able to do any sport they try as well as learning some great gymnastics skills. Typically boys who choose gymnastics like structure, are keen to "do things the right way" and like to follow instructions (or they just like the idea of jumping on a trampoline and climbing to the top of a rope!) Ages 4 and up.

Balance Ninja

Balance Ninja

A combination of parkour, ninja warrior style obstacles and tricking. It involves lots of jumping over boxes in a variety of “vaults”, swinging on bars, learning how to manoeuvre your body over and under obstacles and learning tricks like flips and somersaults, all the while trying to look as cool as possible (rather than with pointed toes and straight legs like gymnastics requires). It takes place in our dedicated Ninja gymspace which includes a purpose built ninja rig and a Parkour wall. Great for core strengthening, physical confidence and lots of fun. A skills framework allows tracking of skill progression and appropriate staging so that tricks are supported with the strength and aerial awareness needed to make them as safe as possible.. These are mixed gender classes for ages 5 plus, or 4 year olds who have started school.

Ninja Racing

Ninja Racing

Our ninja racing program is for those children who really want to focus on obstacle racing, or ‘floor is lava’. It focuses on learning the ninja obstacles like cliffhanger, ring traverse, lache and salmon ladder for higher levels! They also work on balance and swings. It is a great class for children who excel on the monkey bars and climbing at play areas. These are any gender classes for ages 6 plus.

Balance Tumble

Balance Tumble

Sometimes learning all the gymnastics apparatus isn't your thing but learning how to cartwheel, flip and somersault sounds appealing. Using the tumbletrak (10m long trampoline) and airtrak (9m long air-filled bouncy track)to learn a variety of tumbling skills gives you the practise and confidence to then transfer these skills to the sprung floor. We run classes for a range of ages and abilities through the week, including a teen tumble. Ask at the desk to find the appropriate level class for your child. Tumbling sessions are for any gender and ages 6 plus.

Fun and Challenging

I have been taking adult gymnastics classes for several months now and I have to say it’s been a blast. The classes are challenging, but the coaches make sure to adjust the workouts to our skill level. I’ve also made some great friends in class..
